Location & access
The Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Lower Zambezi Valley.
Inbound travellers can travel to Lusaka via numerous scheduled flights
Charter flights from Lusaka to the local airfield take 40 minutes

Wildlife
Large animals around the lodge area include elephant, buffalo, kudu, klipspringer, impala, waterbuck, bushbuck, Burchell's zebra, warthog and bushpig. Carnivores such as lion, leopard, caracal, serval, spotted hyaena and African wild cat are sometimes seen. Crocodiles and Hippos are a common sight on the Zambezi River.
The riverine habitat and variety of surrounding vegetation types is home to an impressive diversity of bird life. More than 400 species have been identified in the vicinity.

The lodge is nestled under a beautiful section of large shady trees and the indigenous vegetation forms the 'garden' between chalets

Whilst the lodge is operating profitably, this should not be perceived to be a “high return on investment” opportunity; Marketing has been low key & largely word of mouth. There is thus an established client base in Zambia, Malawi and South Africa. A few international reservations are also achieved.
